2025 Junior Accounting Theory Conference
We are excited to announce the 2025 Junior Accounting Theory Conference co-hosted by New York University's Department of Accounting at Stern and the Accounting and Economics Society (AES).
The conference will be held in person on Sunday, August 10th, 2025, at the Tisch School of Business, 40 West 4th Street, New York, NY 10012. Check-in will be on floor 4, outside room T412-413.
The conference aims to provide an opportunity for junior faculty and PhD students to exchange research ideas and stimulate new ideas and paths for theoretical accounting research. The conference has proven to be a great venue for early-stage work. We invite early-career researchers to submit working papers that incorporate formal theory, including papers that implement theory-based estimation to address accounting-related research questions. There is no specific conference theme. Working papers at all stages of the research process are welcome.

Once inside, check in with the security desk and be prepared to show a valid government-issued photo ID. After checking in, take the elevators up to the 4th floor of Tisch. The check-in table will be outside room 412.
