Jena B. Cohen
Jena Cohen is the Head of HR for the U.S. Private Bank at JP Morgan. In this role, she works with Business leadership and HR centers of excellence to consult, advise and drive the People Agenda across various aspects of the employee lifecycle. She is currently focused on supporting the growth plan, creating a more inclusive and diverse work environment, promoting employee well-being and preparing next in line leaders.
Before taking on this role at the start of 2021, Jena spent four years as an HR Advisor to JP Morgan’s Chief Risk Officers for CIB and Corporate. Jena joined JP Morgan in 2014 as the co-head of Ongoing Associate Development for the Private Bank. Prior to joining the firm, Jena worked at Goldman Sachs co-heading learning and professional development for the Securities Division and Latin American markets. While at Goldman Sachs, she assessed divisional and regional needs and partnered with stakeholders to deliver customized solutions.
Jena began her career as an investment advisor and branch manager at M&T Bank in New York. She earned a dual BA in Sociology and Anthropology from Colgate University and holds an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business, with a concentration in leadership and change management. She lives in New York on the Upper East Side with her husband and two children and loves to play tennis and cook.
