The student-led NYU Impact Investment Fund (NIIF) has successfully completed its third investment with a $25,000 investment in KIGT whose mission is to bring electric vehicle charging stations to underserved communities.

Some are rolling out specialist fintech degrees. One of the first schools to offer fintech education in 2014, New York University’s Stern School of Business, will run a one-year, part-time Master of Science in Fintech course next May. It aims to cover topics ranging from programming for data to platform strategy, blockchain and cryptocurrencies, machine learning in finance, and leadership in fintech."

International students made up 32% of the Stern School’s MBA students in the fall 2021 cohort, up from the previous two intakes."

Students in the inaugural cohorts of the new one-year master’s programs offered jointly by NYU Shanghai and NYU Stern — the MS in Marketing and Retail Science & MS in Organization Management and Strategy programs — attended orientation in person in New York and virtually from Shanghai on June 1 and subsequently started their summer classes with NYU Stern professors.
