What was your favorite class at Stern?

Leadership in Organizations — Professor North is the best!

How did you find a sense of community and support within Stern?

As a member of The Consortium for Graduate Study in Management, I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to build my friendships before school even started. AHBBS provided an additional community for me, and I loved it so much that I became a president.

What has been a highlight of your Stern experience?

Becoming an AHBBS Co-president! We have a great community at Stern and I'm honored to do what I can to make sure students of color feel supported, and that our cultures are celebrated.

Why did you choose NYU Stern?

I knew that I wanted to attend a school with a small class size so that I would know all my classmates and my professors would know me by name. I was attracted to Stern because the school is a member of The Consortium and is in a great location. It's convenient to be close to company headquarters in Manhattan while having the opportunity to live in Brooklyn. Stern has given me access to an amazing group of people who started as classmates but will become lifelong friends.

What advice do you have for prospective students?

Don't let imposter syndrome stop you from doing whatever you want to do. There will always be others who feel the same way you do, so it’s important to find your community.
