She has spent the greater part of her career in the financial services and investment industry, including roles at Courage Capital Management, a special situations hedge fund, and Diversified Trust, the largest independent trust company in the Southeast. As the co-founder of YouScience, a national education and career platform headquartered in American Fork, Utah, Betsy has helped redefine how individuals discover and apply their innate talents. Over three million people have utilized YouScience, which is now implemented in more than 25% of all U.S. high schools and over 600 colleges and universities. The platform’s innovative aptitude assessments empower students and professionals to align their strengths with academic and career paths, fostering meaningful, fulfilling lives.

Betsy is also the author of Your Hidden Genius: The Science-Backed Strategy for Uncovering and Harnessing Your Innate Talents (HarperCollins, 2025), a groundbreaking book that makes traditionally exclusive aptitude assessments accessible to everyone.
