Brendan Lynch most recently served as the lead architect of MetLife’s Employee Care Center of Excellence, he broke new ground in how MetLife balanced business and human imperatives through his authentic care for people and focus on business impact. Brendan held responsibility for Global Employee Relations practices that provided a high-touch service, counseling leaders and employees. Brendan also served as a Senior HR Business Advisor for Global Brand and Marketing, Human Resources, Legal Affairs and Corporate Affairs.
 

Prior to his last role at MetLife, Brendan led the HR Shared Services organization that provided employee-centric solutions and services to MetLife’s workforce of 43,000 worldwide. Brendan served as the executive sponsor of MetLife’s HREvolution program – a global HR innovation and transformation approach focused on preparing the HR function and the overall workforce of today for any future. The HR innovation agenda was fueled by an employee care strategy, robust analytics, fit-for-purpose technology, and strategic partnerships. Brendan also led MetLife’s Global HR Technology Operations team that delivered operational excellence through a strong foundation of enterprise platforms inclusive of ever-growing automation; and a newly formed HR Business Controls & Governance team that managed the risk associated with complexities of operating worldwide with topics spanning compliance to data privacy. 
 

Brendan joined MetLife in April 2019 with a leadership acumen spanning 25+ years in numerous global, strategic, and operational experiences from various industries. Most recently, Brendan was Senior Vice President, Human Resources Services for Johnson & Johnson where he led a global workforce of 1,200 in 70 countries inclusive of Employee & Labor Relations, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, and Workforce Data Management. Prior to his role in Human Resources, Brendan was a commercial leader in several Johnson & Johnson sectors commended for his versality in driving positive business results and high levels of employee engagement. Earlier in Brendan’s career, he worked at The Estee Lauder Companies, PepsiCo, and Pfizer where he held service delivery management roles focused on call center operations, information technology, and communications.
