4+1 Partner Schools
NYU Stern has developed a unique 4+1 program agreement with partner universities.
Currently, NYU Stern has partnerships with the following programs:
International
As these programs are all taught in English, applicants from these universities will not be required to take the TOEFL/IELTS/Duolingo English Test.
In addition, applicants from one of the 4+1 partner schools will have the GMAT/GRE test requirement waived regardless of their GPA.
Applicants as part of the partner school 4+1 programs will be given favorable consideration in the admissions process. In addition to being considered for the $10,000 MSA merit based scholarship, 4+1 applicants will also be considered for a special $5,000 4+1 merit based scholarship. Applicants may be awarded either of the two scholarships, but will not be awarded both.
Applicants who are applying from one of our 4+1 program partner schools (NYU Abu Dhabi; NYU Shanghai; University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy; SolBridge International School of Business, Korea; Franklin & Marshall College) are eligible for application fee waivers. Prior to submitting your application, please submit the Application Fee Waiver Request Form for application fee waiver consideration and include a scanned copy of your transcripts.
As always, applicants must also meet the pre-requirements prior to enrollment. The typical deadline for international applicants to submit their 2023 MSA application is November 15, 2022. If you are applying to the 4+1 program from the University of Bozen-Bolzano or SolBridge International School of Business, you may request permission to submit your application by March 15, 2023. Please email admchair@stern.nyu.edu to make your request.
If you are applying via one of our 4+1 Programs, please indicate "I have been approved by the Admissions Committee to waive my GMAT/GRE test requirement" in the Standardized Tests section of the application, as well as note this in your optional essay. No other steps are required in the application process.
