Fireside Chat with Paul Shapiro

Paul Shapiro joined the Fubon Center for Technology, Business and Innovation on Thursday, January 30th to talk about the massive changes underway in the food industry. He explained why and how the agricultural production of animals for food is being displaced by plant-based proteins, meat grown with amino acids, and more. He also talked about the opportunities and obstacles faced by both existing competitors and innovative new entrants in the meat space. Paul was interviewed by NYU Stern Professor Melissa Schilling, the Director of the Fubon Center's Innovation Initiative.
