Students who wish to use financial aid may be eligible for Federal and/or Private student loans. Federal loans consist of funding provided by the government to domestic students (U.S. citizens and permanent residents only). To apply, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)Private loans are non-federal loans that are offered through lenders such as banks or credit unions. Most private lenders require non-U.S. citizens and permanent residents to apply with a U.S. based co-signer. Scholarships

The NYU Stern MS in Business Analytics program is proud to announce support for applicants through scholarships. We offer partial merit-based scholarships ranging from $3-$5k to selected applicants receiving minimal or no financial sponsorship from their employer. All scholarships are individual, one-time awards and are applied toward tuition payments. Scholarship decisions are made based on an overall review of the formal application and its required components and the interview. Applicants will automatically be considered for all available scholarships and will be notified in the offer of admission if selected.

MSBA Dean’s Scholarship
We are now awarding an MSBA Dean's Scholarship, a merit-based scholarship awarded based on a range of criteria including prior academic achievement, professional accomplishments, and demonstration of leadership and teamwork abilities.

Please note that most MSBA students finance the program through a combination of personal finances, loans, and company sponsorship. If you are planning on having these discussions with your employer, we are happy to provide you with a template to help you frame the program and its benefits. You may also visit our Sponsorship Page.

Veterans

NYU Stern is pleased to participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program. This program is available to veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces who are 100% eligible for the new Post 9/11 VA Benefits. During the academic year, Stern will contribute awards of up to $31,600 per academic year to eligible MSBA students. The Veterans Administration will match these funds for a total award of up to $63,200 per year. Yellow Ribbon recipients will receive the funds for the duration of their MSBA tenure. Visit NYU's Veterans Benefits page and the Department of Veterans Affairs website for additional information on benefits and eligibility.

International Students

International students are welcome and encouraged to apply to the MS in Business Analytics program. Admissions policies and tuition fees are the same for both international and non-international students. In order to facilitate visa processing, international students are encouraged to submit applications for each of the US-based modules as soon as they are put in touch with our dedicated MSBA Program Manager. Please note that international students are responsible for the costs incurred for the SEVIS/visa fee applications throughout their tenure as students. For more information, please see our International Students page.
