Strategic Foresight Study

Future Today Strategy Group (FTSG) and the NYU Stern Center for the Future of Management are partnering to shape a new report–the first of its kind–about the use of strategic foresight.

About the Strategic Foresight Study

Strategic foresight is a data-driven practice for developing plausible future scenarios in order to inform today's decisions. Today, more than ever, the global business climate is increasingly volatile, uncertain, and reliant on emerging technologies. Organizations are increasingly leveraging strategic foresight to improve their planning and long-term decision making. The Strategic Foresight Study seeks to better understand how organizations use foresight to inform strategic decisions, and how mature those efforts are.

This work is being led by Professors Webb and Seamans, in collaboration with the Future Today Strategy Group (FTSG). Professor Webb also serves as CEO of FTSG, where Managing Director Melanie Subin plays a key role in overseeing this initiative.

The survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. All responses are confidential and will only be reported in aggregate form. If you would like to participate, please see the survey below:
