Career

As the Part-time MBA program is not intended for students looking to make a career transition, career services offered to our part-time students are meant to support students seeking to advance in their current industry or function. Career services are provided by a team of experienced coaches in the Career Center for Working Professionals (CCWP). The CCWP also offers career-long services to MBA alumni for all future job transitions and promotions.

The Career Center for Working Professionals (CCWP) offers:

  • Lifetime career coaching that considers your individual interests, strengths, and experiences to strategize a job search unique to you

  • Virtual and in-person events on professional development topics, leadership, career design, and opportunities to interact with alumni

  • Job postings from employers exclusively seeking to recruit from Stern's working professionals

  • Preparation program for limited post-MBA full-time roles for eligible students who meet the program requirements

Students in the Weeknight and Saturday Options have the opportunity to interview for limited full-time positions during their final year in the program if they meet the CCWP requirements, through a program called Langone IGNITE. It is important to note that these requirements are considerable and demand a significant amount of time. Due to the accelerated schedule, Part-time MBA students pursuing the Accelerated program option do not have access to on-campus recruiting of any kind.

Please note, Part-time MBA students do not have access to summer internship and/or other internship recruiting/interviewing through Stern of any kind. In addition, the current employment status and/or any change in the employment status of a Part-time MBA student does not change the eligibility and/or availability of any of the career services offered to Part-time MBA students.

Professional Network

Langone students and alumni benefit from access to Stern’s global alumni community, which includes 110,000 members in 130 countries, with 70 percent of alums currently living in the tri-state area.
