Thorsten Wahle

Biography
Thorsten is a PhD candidate at the University of Lugano, and a visiting student at NYU, Stern School of Business, working with Professor Zur Shapira. He received his undergraduate degree from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology with a major in Economics Engineering and his Master’s in Economics from Heidelberg University. In his research, he is interested in managerial decision making under uncertainty. Specifically, he uses simulations and experiments, as well as empirical analyses to examine micromechanics of organizational learning and search.  His research has been presented at the Academy of Management, the Strategic Management Society, among others. Thorsten has taught undergraduate tutorials in Microeconomics and Neuroeconomics, and served as a teaching assistant for Master level courses in Decision Making and Business Analytics.
