Hubert Halope

About Hubert Halope:

Hubert is a Visiting Scholar at NYU Stern School of Business and a PhD candidate in Management at the University of Geneva's School of Economics and Management. His research focuses on organizational governance and risk management of AI, examining various stakeholders across the AI value chain. Specifically, he investigates how organizations design multi-stakeholder governance architectures to mitigate the political, ethical, and operational risks inherent across the AI value chain.

Prior to his doctoral studies, Hubert spent several years shaping global technology agendas at the World Economic Forum (WEF) as Artificial Intelligence Lead. In this role, he spearheaded international AI governance initiatives and designed cross-border frameworks across the global network of Centres for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. His professional background also includes managing complex technology transformation and digital strategy projects in the private sector.

Hubert holds a dual Master’s degree in International Management from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and CEMS, as well as a Bachelor’s in Economics from Maastricht University.
