About Hubert Halope:
Hubert is a Visiting Scholar at NYU Stern School of Business, a Visiting Researcher at INSEAD, and a PhD candidate in Management at the University of Geneva’s School of Economics and Management. His research focuses on the organizational governance and risk management of AI. Specifically, he investigates how organizations design multi-stakeholder governance architectures to mitigate the social, ethical, and operational risks that arise across the AI value chain.
Prior to his doctoral studies, Hubert spent several years at the World Economic Forum (WEF) as Artificial Intelligence Lead. In this role, he led international AI governance initiatives and designed cross-border frameworks across the WEF’s global network of Centres for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. His professional background also includes managing technology transformation and digital strategy projects in the private sector.
Hubert holds a dual Master’s degree in International Management from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School (MSc) and CEMS (MIM), the Global Alliance in Management Education, including a term at Bocconi University. He also holds a BSc in Economics & Business Economics from Maastricht University School of Business and Economics.
