Lottery & Registration Process
Lottery Timeline
- The Spring 2026 lottery submission period runs from October 1st through October 21st (11:59pm).
- The lottery process will run from October 22nd through November 17th.
- Add/drop will begin on November 18th.

Please be aware that payment is due on or before Janunary 5, 2026 for continuing students.
After you register, it is your responsibility to check My Academic Progress to review your graduation requirements and ensure your status has been accurately recorded.

You can search by department or print the entire schedule. Any schedule or instructor changes will be updated in real-time. - Two Year Full-time MBA
- Students may lottery for up to 15 credits during the Spring term.
- FT MBA1: Select your remaining menu core and additional elective courses. You must complete the minimum requirement of five out of seven menu core this spring.
- FT MBA2: Graduating students need to register for COR2-GB 3101 (Professional Responsibility) if the course hasn’t already been completed.
- If you want to take on additional coursework (up to 18 credits), you must be approved for a credit overload by Academic Affairs & Advising.
- Students may lottery for up to 15 credits during the Spring term.
- Focused Tech MBA
- Lottery up to 17.5 credits.
- 10 required credits

- INTA-GB.2000 Professional Practicum
- INTA-GB.3322 Tech Immersion
- OPMG-GB.3110 Foundations of AI Agents*

- Your program's next set of required courses will automatically appear in your lottery selections. Please do NOT drop them.
- OPMG-GB.3110 Foundations of AI Agents: A highly recommended elective, however, you can remove this and replace with another 1.5 credit elective in its place.
- INTA-GB.3322 Tech Immersion: You will be enrolled in this class separately and will be able to see your registration in Albert once all enrollment is finalized. This class is included in your 17.5 credit maximum for the Spring, thus you should only lottery for 14.5 credits.

- MKTG-GB.2376 Next Gen Fashion OR MKTG-GB.2326 Luxury Marketing: You only need to submit one of these courses and can choose to delete or submit both if you choose.
- If you want to take on additional coursework, you must be approved for a credit overload by Academic Affairs & Advising.
- Students should lottery for up to 19 credits in the spring term.
- Langone MBA
- Students may lottery for up to 9 credits in the Spring and 4.5 credits in the winter intensive.
- Fall 2025 Admits: The next set of basic core courses will automatically appear in your lottery course selections. You MUST submit these selections along with any additional choices and reorder primary rankings, to be evaluated in the lottery review.
- COR1-GB 1303 Firms and Markets and COR1-GB 1306 Financial Accounting and Reporting should be completed during the Spring 2026 term.
- MGMT-GB 2159 CCN and COR2-GB 3101 Professional Responsibility should be completed during the Winter Intensive.
- Note: COR2-GB 3101 Professional Responsibility and Collaboration, Conflict and Negotiation will not automatically appear in your lottery course selections; you must manually add these courses, along with your core courses.
- Spring 2025 Admits: The following core courses should be completed during this Spring as part of your program sequence, if you have not already done so.
- COR1-GB 2303 The Global Economy and COR1-GB 2314 Operations Management should be completed during the full Spring term.
- COR1-GB 2103 Strategy I and COR1-GB 2104 Strategy II should be completed during the Winter Intensive.
- Please refer to the Langone Course Planning Guide to get a sense of when courses are typically offered.
- Fall 2025 Admits: The next set of basic core courses will automatically appear in your lottery course selections. You MUST submit these selections along with any additional choices and reorder primary rankings, to be evaluated in the lottery review.
- Ensure your expected graduation date is up to date by updating it in Albert.
- Students interested in officially changing their offering status (e.g. from Weeknights to Weekends) should click here for details.
- Students may lottery for up to 9 credits in the Spring and 4.5 credits in the winter intensive.
- Modules with NYC Immersion
- Combination of asynchronous online learning with on-campus immersions.
- Specific business theme for each module.

Your NYU email login & password are required. If you have forgotten your login/password, contact ITS at 212-998-3333 or AskIT@nyu.edu.- Upon submission, students will receive an email confirmation of their registration lottery selections. Please retain this email for verification purposes.
- Within the registration lottery, we suggest assigning top rank (i.e., primary #1) to your most valued course. The next prioritized course should then be ranked as "primary # 2", etc. Include alternate courses for each primary class so that you may get preference for the alternate in case your primary is closed. Including alternates does NOT reduce your chances of getting a primary choice. It helps to increase the possibility you will end up with a schedule of classes that suits your preferences.

Summer 2021 - View your Lottery Results & Make Schedule Adjustments (Begins November 18th)
