Lottery Timeline

• The Fall 2025 lottery submission period runs from April 30th through May 20th (11:59pm) for Two-Year MBA & Langone students and May 22nd through June 3rd (11:59pm) for Focused MBA Summer 2025 Admits.
• The lottery process will run from May 21st through June 9th for Two-Year MBA & Langone students and June 4th through June 9th for Focused MBA Summer 2025 Admits.
• Add/drop will begin on June 10th.

Please be aware that payment is due on or before August 5, 2025 for continuing students.

After you register, it is your responsibility to check My Academic Progress to review your graduation requirements and ensure your status has been accurately recorded.

  You can search by department or print the entire schedule. Any schedule or instructor changes will be updated in real-time. 
• FT MBA students should lottery for up to 15 credits.

  • If you want to take on additional coursework (up to 18 credits), you must be approved for a credit overload by Academic Affairs & Advising.
• Focused MBA Students
  • Luxury and Retail MBA students should lottery for up to 15 credits in the fall term.
    • 9 required credits

      • OPMG-GB.2308.F1 Retail Ops & Supply Chain Management
      • INTA-GB.3313.F1 Luxury & Retail Digital Solutions
    • 6 elective credits
  • Tech MBA students should lottery for up to 15 credits in the fall term.
    • 10.5 required credits

• Langone MBA Students
  • Students may lottery for up to 9 credits in the Fall.
  • Students may lottery for up to 4.5 credits during the Early Fall.
  • Spring 2025 Admits: MGMT-GB.2159 Collaboration, Conflict and Negotiation and COR2-GB 3101 Professional Responsibility should be completed during the Early Fall.
    • Weeknight Students: COR1-GB 2310 Marketing & COR1-GB 2311 Foundations of Finance should be completed during the Fall 2025 semester. 
    • Weekend Students: COR1-GB 1302 Leadership in Organizations and COR1-GB 1305 Statistics will appear in your lottery selections. You must submit this selection along with any added choices and reorder primary rankings to be evaluated in the lottery review. Alternatively, you may also edit or delete classes to prevent registration.
  • Fall 2024 Admits: COR1-GB.2103 Strategy I and COR1-GB.2104 Strategy II should be completed during the Early Fall.
    • Weeknight Students: COR1-GB.2303 The Global Economy and COR1-GB.2314 Operations Management should be completed during the Fall 2025 semester.
    • Weekend Students: You may complete these core classes in Spring 2026 and should take electives this term.

  • Ensure your expected graduation date is up to date by updating it in Albert.

  • Combination of asynchronous online learning with on-campus immersions.

• Login to Albert to Submit Your Lottery Request
  Your NYU email login & password are required. If you have forgotten your login/password, contact ITS at 212-998-3333 or AskIT@nyu.edu.  
  • Upon submission, students will receive an email confirmation of their registration lottery selections. Please retain this email for verification purposes.
  • Within the registration lottery, we suggest assigning top rank (i.e., primary #1) to your most valued course. The next prioritized course should then be ranked as "primary # 2", etc. Include alternate courses for each primary class so that you may get preference for the alternate in case your primary is closed. Including alternates does NOT reduce your chances of getting a primary choice. It helps to increase the possibility you will end up with a schedule of classes that suits your preferences.

• View your Lottery Results & Make Schedule Adjustments (Begins June 10th)
• Registration lottery results will be posted according to your graduation date. You will be able to add/drop courses in real-time (class availability changes as classes open and close).

  This includes payment instructions, tuition and fees (any late fees, if applicable), dates and deadlines. Please review before submitting your payment. Please be aware that payment is due on or before August 5th for continuing students.
