Dual Degree Programs with other NYU Divisions
Stern offers formal dual degree programs with the following divisions or schools of New York University:
- JD/MBA (with the School of Law)
- MBA/MPA (with the Wagner School of Public Administration)
- MBA/MS in Mathematics for Finance (with the Courant Institute of Mathematics, GSAS)
- MBA/MFA (with the Kanbar Institute of Film & Television, Tisch)
- MBA/MS in Biology (with GSAS)
- MBA/MD (with the School of Medicine at the NYU Langone Medical Center)
International Dual Degree Program - Stern/HEC
Stern offers a dual Stern/HEC Dual Degree Program with HEC School of Management, Jouy-en-Josas, France.

Policies
Admissions
Students must apply and be accepted to both schools in order to be officially enrolled in a dual degree program.
Full-Time Student Status Requirement
The dual degree programs are designed for students in the Full-Time Stern MBA program. Only students in the Full-Time program at Stern may apply or participate.
Degree Bearing Program Requirement
New York University students may not participate in two degree bearing programs at NYU simultaneously, unless accepted and enrolled into one of the established joint degree programs listed above.
Established Dual Degree Programs Only
The Stern Dual Degrees have received state approval. There is specific criteria and requirements for each program of study in order to grant a degree. It is not possible to create or combine degrees with the Stern MBA outside of the formal dual degree programs.
One Dual Degree Allowed
Students may participate in only one dual degree program.
