Fertitta Veterans Program

The Fertitta Veterans Program is an innovative program specifically designed for U.S. military veterans and active duty students to support their transition to business school – financially, academically and professionally. The uniquely designed summer session will include an early start on selected coursework; career programming with access to corporations and alumni; engagement with veteran alumni mentors; and social activities. The program begins in July and concludes just before LAUNCH orientation in August.

Stern projects that approximately 20 incoming full-time MBA military students who are accepted into the Fertitta Veterans Program will receive scholarship support that reduces their tuition to a flat $30,000 per year.  Students who qualify for veterans benefits, including Yellow Ribbon funding, will continue to be eligible to receive those benefits.

U.S. citizens and permanent residents are eligible for summer federal student loans. To apply, students will submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA will be used for summer and fall/spring loan packaging.

International students may apply for private loans on a semester-only basis or for the full academic year (fall and spring). Please note that if applying for a summer loan, it must have a summer-only loan period. Summer cannot be combined with a fall-spring loan period.
