One sentence quote about your experience at NYU Stern so far:

Growth isn’t just about gaining knowledge. It’s about context, community, and constant challenge. Every case debate, group brainstorm, hallway chat, and guest speaker has added something new to how I think about tech, leadership, and business.

Why did you decide to pursue the focused one-year MBA program?

I chose the focused one-year Tech MBA because it bridges my experience in client-facing roles at startups with my long-term goal of transitioning into strategy and operations at a larger tech company. The program’s fast-paced, immersive format aligns with how I like to work: hands-on, collaborative, and impact-driven, while deepening my understanding of emerging technologies and their role in shaping business strategy.

How did you find a sense of community and support within Stern?

The community clicked faster than I expected. Everyone showed up ready to help, whether it was sharing notes, talking through a recruiting strategy, or just grabbing coffee to vent after a long week. It’s a group that celebrates each other’s wins, big or small.

How would you describe the culture and community within your class?

Everyone’s driven, but also curious and collaborative. We push each other to think bigger without losing sight of the human side. There’s a lot of laughter, energy, and genuine respect for what each person brings to the table.

What has been your favorite class at Stern? Why?

My favorite class has been Strategic Foresight and Predicting the Future of Tech with Professor Amy Webb. It has completely changed how I think about long-term innovation, teaching me how to identify signals of change, analyze patterns, and anticipate how technology will reshape industries. It's a great class for MBA students, as you learn from other non-Stern students as well.

What has been a highlight of your Stern experience?

Working with my team on the NBCUniversal Stern Solutions project has been a highlight for sure. Getting to tackle a real-world business challenge (with agentic AI) and learn about the different challenges involved in the theme park space has been interesting and rewarding. It made everything we’d learned in class feel tangible in the best way.

Why did you choose NYU Stern?

Stern checked every box, a focus on tech, one-year format, and a location in the heart of New York. I wanted to be surrounded by people who were building things and asking big questions, and this felt like the perfect environment for that. Plus, the mix of IQ+EQ here is refreshing.

What advice do you have for prospective students?

Talk to current students and grads, they’ll give you the real picture of what life here is like. Come in ready to learn fast, collaborate often, and say yes to things that scare you a little. The year flies by, but if you lean in, it’s one of the most rewarding experiences you’ll have.

How has Stern’s location in NYC impacted your experience?

New York keeps you plugged in to everything happening in tech and business. One day you’re in class discussing a case, and the next you’re at a company’s HQ hearing how it really plays out. The city pushes you to move faster, think bigger, and stay curious, it’s basically a living classroom.
