Schedule

Overview
The MS in Quantitative Management is a part-time, 20-month program with a highly-structured curriculum that keeps you on pace and on track. The program begins each August and follows a streamlined course sequence, meaning you’ll move through the curriculum with your cohort. Courses run continuously, with regular breaks built in—including long weekends, a winter break, and spring break.

Residential Immersions
The predominantly online MSQM program includes two immersive four-day residencies, held each August on the NYU Stern campus. During each residency, students take classes in person as well as participate in social and networking events.

Program Structure
The MSQM program consists of 22 courses, for a total of 33 credits. Students typically take one course at a time—except during the second residential immersion, when two courses run concurrently.

Course Structure
Each online course is 1.5 credits, spans approximately 3 to 3.5 weeks, and includes two lessons per week. The courses are designed to fit around work and life commitments, meaning you can engage with the material whenever it works best for your schedule, as long as you meet course deadlines. The only mandatory in-person commitments are the Residential Immersions.
Each week, you’ll also have the option to join timezone-friendly 60- to 90-minute live online Meetups. These sessions offer a chance to connect with your professor and classmates, ask questions, and review the week’s material.
