Quality Jobs and Worker Wellbeing Workshop

Date

Join the NYU Stern Center for Sustainable Business (CSB) for a discussion on how investing in quality employment is beneficial for corporate performance and investor returns.
With support from Prudential, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Glenmede, and data from Arabesque, B Lab, and JUST Capital, the CSB research initiative “Quality Jobs and Worker Wellbeing” uses a novel framework combining employee-focused metrics and external factors to examine the following questions:
  • What is a quality job?
  • What strategies are companies using to create quality jobs?
  • Does having higher quality jobs lead to better company performance?
In this workshop, we will present the research findings to date, hear from our research partners and discuss the takeaways in small group breakout rooms.
Panelists include:
  • Todd Bridges, Partner and Global Head of Sustainable Investing & ESG Research, Arabesque
  • Jorge Fontanez, CEO, BCorp U.S. & Canada
  • Mark Hays, Director of Sustainable and Impact Investing, Glenmede
  • Alison Omens, Chief Strategy Officer, JUST Capital
  • Tyler Spalding, Corporate Affairs & Communications Leader, PayPal
  • Moderator: Professor Tensie Whelan, Director, NYU Stern Center for Sustainable Business
This event is open to corporate and investor professional networks of CSB and research partners.
