Welcome Week 2025
Washington Square was alive with the phenomenal energy that only Orientation Week can summon as we welcomed the Class of 2029 to NYU Stern!
Over the course of the week, our new students explored all that NYU, Stern, and New York City have to offer. From cheering at the U.S. Open to collaborating during the Cohort Challenge, they built new friendships and discovered the academic, social impact, global, professional, and community pillars that will guide them throughout their undergraduate experience.
Orientation Leaders, faculty, and staff guided students through a series of workshops and games designed to introduce them to one another and the city they now call home. The week culminated in the Dean’s Convocation, where the new class was welcomed by school leaders who offered their congratulations and encouragement, alongside the spirited student leader performance–always a crowd favorite at Convocation.
We are beyond thrilled to see our newest students begin their Stern journey–and we can’t wait to watch their impact unfold in the years ahead.
