Curriculum

A Curriculum Customized to Your Goals

You need a curriculum that is relevant to your career goals. We provide the options to get you there. Choose up to three areas of focus from over 25. From there, you can dial in your experience by selecting from a pool of over 200 electives.

With a course of study that is as agile and forward-thinking as you, you will develop a well-rounded understanding of entrepreneurship and related functions, including venture capital, private equity, social entrepreneurship, and small business.

Launching Your Venture

The Berkley Center for Entrepreneurship, our very own entrepreneurial hub, helps students to launch and lead high-growth companies by providing extensive mentorship and guidance, cutting-edge research and high-profile new venture competitions.

Sponsored by the Berkley Center for Entrepreneurship, the NYU Stern Entrepreneurs Challenge is comprised of three competitions, with winners sharing $225,000 in seed funding plus pro bono startup services:

  • New Venture Competition - winners receive up to $75,000
  • Healthcare Venture Competition-  winners receive up to $75,000
  • Digital Technology Venture Competition -  winners receive up to $75,000

The prize money from the NYU Entrepreneurs Challenge is made possible by the generous support of the Rennert Family Foundation, Mr. Ira Rennert (MBA ‘56) and Mr. Ari Rennert (BS ‘01).

Experiential Learning

Developing Solutions, Driving Impact

Stern Venture Fellows Program

Build your own venture immediately after completing your degree. Awarded fellows spend 10 weeks on both coasts developing their ideas and receive a $10,000 stipend, a prototyping fee, workspace, mentorship and group workshops.

Tech and the City

Students learn about digital entrepreneurship through the lens of successful early-stage technology companies. Student work with different startups from the investment portfolios of Union Square Ventures and other leading tech-focused venture capital firms throughout their semester.

Endless Frontier Lab

The Endless Frontier Lab is a seed-stage program for massively scalable, science-based companies. The program employs an objectives-based mentoring process with the goal of maximizing equity-value creation.
