Resources for Female Students and Applicants:

  • Women's Weekend is an event hosted in the fall that gives prospective students a chance to meet the Stern community and learn more about NYU Stern's commitment to supporting and empowering women on their journey to and through business school. 
  • Stern Women in Business (SWIB) hosts career networking, professional development, community service and social events for Stern's female community. The annual SWIB conference draws more than 400 Stern students, alumnae and professionals from the New York City area. Contact current students in SWIB at swibadmissions@stern.nyu.edu.
  • Forté Foundation is a consortium of top business schools and companies dedicated to directing talented women toward leadership roles in business.
  • Hear from Stern alumnae in our Community @ Stern: Alumnae Women in Business Webinar. Topics of discussion include: the journey to Stern, the female community at Stern, the MBA experience, and careers after Stern.

Scholarships and Financial Assistance

The NYU Stern Advancing Women in Business Scholarship
Established in 2017, The NYU Stern Advancing Women in Business Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship that is awarded to students entering the Two Year Full-time MBA program that demonstrate a deep and abiding commitment to advancing women in business. This scholarship covers full tuition and mandatory fees for the two years of the Full-time MBA program, in addition to an annual stipend of $10,000. The award is partially funded by alumnae and members of the Stern School's Board of Overseers.
