Financial Times featured NYU Stern's Sustainability for Competitive Advantage class and a byline from CSB Founding Director, Tensie Whelan, in a weekly selection of articles by and for business school professors to connect classrooms to current events and develop students' critical thinking.

Her op-ed, Sustainability is real and smart investors know it, was highlighted alongside another NYU professor's piece with opposing views, challenging students to review each article and evaluate the strength of each argument to form their own viewpoint. 

While created for students, this exercise is helpful for all of us working in the space, who need to work with colleagues and partners who may hold differing positions on sustainability as a business imperative. Understanding and speaking knowledgably about the strengths and weaknesses is critical in finding common ground and moving forward toward a better world through better business.
