USA Today announced that Vogue Italia removed all photography from its newest 2020 issue in favor of illustrations. The company’s first-ever photo-free edition aligns with its refreshed mission statement to become more environmentally-conscious, citing the unnecessary environmental costs of photoshoots. USA Today cites Fortune’s article on CSB findings that consumers are moving in favor of sustainable products, especially in the luxury market.
