Assistant Director, NYU Stern CSB - Full-Time Position

NYU Stern Center for Sustainable Business has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Director. The Assistant Director will provide a high level of logistical and operational assistance to support the daily operations of the Center for Sustainable Business. Manage and support events, conferences, and programs for student educational and career development activities. Lead data management of stakeholders in Salesforce and lead metric tracking for student programs. Support team in identifying corporate partnerships to further the success and exposure of the Center’s student programs and offerings. Develop, write, and edit communications materials for the team. Assess and evaluate progress against milestones and make recommendations for improvements. We are seeking candidates with excellent project management skills, who are enthusiastic about furthering the success and exposure of the Center’s student programs and offerings.

Associate Director, Operations - Full-Time Position

NYU’s Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director, Operations at our Center for Sustainable Business (CSB). The Associate Director, Operations will manage daily operations of the Center, including multiple educational and research activities. The selected candidate will manage the annual budget and financial reporting for CSB, including overseeing numerous grants and tracking revenue and invoicing. The Associate Director will manage recruitment and administrative operations, lead contract negotiations with NYU’s legal team, prepare fundraising proposals and reports, administer strategic plans and KPI tracking, and oversee database and information systems management.

Associate Research Scholar, Invest NYC SDG Initiative - Full-Time Position

The NYU Stern Center for Sustainable Business (CSB) is seeking a full-time Associate Research Scholar who is passionate about the CSB mission to support the Invest NYC SDG initiative’s innovative project, “Mapping Agricultural Production in New York City (M.A.P. NYC). M.A.P. NYC aims to help New York City reach its equity and sustainability goals by cataloging all food grown in dedicated agricultural spaces in the city.  The Associate Research Scholar will build on a crowd-sourced map of existing food production sites in NYC created by the M.A.P. NYC team in 2021-2022, which is populated with available data from relevant city agencies, as well as new data solicited from farms and gardens, including commercial farms which do not report data to the City.

Graduate Fellow Research Assistant, ROSI - Part-Time Position

The NYU Stern Center for Sustainable Business (CSB) seeks to hire a MBA Graduate Fellow for the Academic Year 2023-24 to contribute to our ongoing Return on Sustainability Investment (ROSI™) research and work with corporate and non-profit partners. The MBA Graduate Fellow will help conduct research to assist with the monetization of the benefits of sustainability strategies. Projects may include decarbonization in the Energy/Utilities, Automotive Industries and/or broader sustainability strategies and practices in other industries as needed. The goal of these projects is to build the financial case for transitioning to more sustainable industry practices by assessing the ROI on strategic sustainability investments.

CSB Fall 2023 Work Study Intern - Part-Time Position 

The NYU Stern Center for Sustainable Business (CSB) is seeking a part-time work-study intern to support our team with a range of administrative assignments and office tasks, including maintaining CSB's Sustainable Business Career Resources Board by identifying job and internship opportunities in sustainability on a weekly basis, creating, maintaining, and auditing CSB's Salesforce contacts, editing captions for virtual events and upload to CSB’s YouTube Channel, and preparing and updating slide deck materials. This position is open to undergraduate students who are work-study eligible and interested in sustainability.
