Tensie Whelan named to Aston Martin's Board
In an effort to change Aston Martin's history of executive "petrol head" directors on their board, the luxury car company appointed non-executive directors, including the first female to chair the company ever. Tensie Whelan, Director of the NYU Stern Center for Sustainable Business, is one of the few that were appointed to the new board. Aston Martin has a history of seven bankrupcies and financial hardship, and thus the company is optimistic about the new board bringing better leadership and spurring optimism about the company's future.
