Tiphaine Massé is a Senior Research Scientist, Private Markets at the NYU Stern Center for Sustainable Business. Tiphaine is a finance and sustainability leader with over 20 years of experience in global financial institutions, most recently at Credit Suisse, where he led complex transformation initiatives across treasury, capital planning, enterprise controls, and performance management. He brings deep expertise in financial analysis, liquidity management, governance frameworks, and operational effectiveness, with a track record of driving successful cross-functional execution and unlocking value across business lines.
He has worked across the full lifecycle of strategic initiatives, from problem framing and current-state assessment to target operating model design and implementation, ensuring that business strategy, finance, and operations remain aligned. Known for analytical rigor and constructive challenge, Tiphaine focuses on evidence-based decision-making and long-term value creation. His experience spans both oversight and execution roles, giving him a practical understanding of how to translate strategic ambition into measurable operational and financial outcomes.
