Mentorship from industry executives can be a key differentiator in career and professional development. EmpowHER provides students with one-on-one mentorship from leading executives in finance and ESG investing to support them throughout their MBA journey.

About the Mentorship

A key pillar of the EmpowHER program is providing students with one-on-one mentorship from leading executives in finance and ESG investing throughout the course of the MBA Program. Mentorship can be an invaluable differentiator for one’s career and personal development journey. Research shows benefits related to important career outcomes such as salary level, promotion rate, and job satisfaction, among others. 

CSB has built a powerful network of professionals to serve as mentors, providing guidance and strategic feedback to students as they navigate their MBA journey and define their career objectives. About the Advisory Committee

The EmpowHER Advisory Committee is drawn from CSB’s network of leading professionals in sustainable finance and is a partner to CSB in the development and implementation of the program. Our advisory committee members play critical roles in:

  • Assisting with the development of program strategy, format, and content development
  • Supporting student development as appropriate by:
    • Mentoring 
    • Hosting experiential learning engagements
    • Guest lecturing, participating in networking and career panels
  • Acting as ambassadors for the program by:
    • Helping CSB expand its network of companies to identify internships, job opportunities and experiential learning engagements
    • Recruiting additional professionals for mentorship and guest lecturing
    • Engaging their company to create a pipeline for prospective employees
