Professor Diane Lennard Discusses Her Book “Strategic Communication At Work: The Impact Paradigm” in an Author Lecture Series Event

Diane Lennard Giving Lecture
Clinical Professor of Management Communication Diane Lennard sat down with moderator Beth Briggs, assistant dean of career services, and Stern alumni contributors Bryan Coughlin (MBA ‘17), Anne Gregory (MBA ‘17), Jessy Hsieh (MBA ‘10), and Jenn Wynn (MBA ‘10) for a thought-provoking conversation on her new book, Strategic Communication At Work: The Impact Paradigm

Sharing illuminating stories on how the IMPACT paradigm is relevant to them, Professor Lennard and the Stern alumni contributors explored the practical approaches to engaging in all types of communication―one-on-one, small group, and large group―to achieve intended results and make informed decisions that increase the effectiveness of communication skills and enhance credibility.

Alumni Council Member Marcia Friedkin (MBA ‘13) welcomed the speakers and commenced the evening with introductory remarks. After the conversation, guests continued the discussion during the reception and book signing with Professor Lennard.
