The NYU Stern Alumni Council is the heart of Stern’s alumni network, proudly representing the interests of a global community of over 114,000 alumni. The Council is an alumni volunteer leadership group that works with the administration to guide alumni programming, support School initiatives, and encourage philanthropy.

Each year, new alumni leaders are recruited to join this dedicated group for a three-year term of service. Members contribute their unique talents through specialized subcommittees in areas like philanthropy, recruitment, and identity affinity representation. This fall, the Council welcomes 20 new members, sees several current members advance to new roles, and marks a leadership transition with the appointment of Earl Fitzhugh (MBA ’12) as the new Chair.
