As part of the School’s Lifelong Learning Initiative, Professor Anat Lechner held a workshop with alumni exploring how artificial intelligence is rapidly evolving from a productivity tool into a fundamental driver of business transformation. Through real-world examples, emerging case studies, and insightful prompts, the discussion highlighted how organizations are moving from experimenting with AI to embedding it at the core of their business architecture. Professor Lechner gave attendees important insights into the current landscape of AI that empowered them to change the way they use AI in their professional lives. The workshop was followed by a networking reception, where alumni had the opportunity to mingle and meet Professor Lechner.

“How to Get Unstuck and Unlock Your Potential” with Professor Adam Alter

Fresh off his appearance with Oprah Winfrey on The Oprah Podcast, Professor Adam Alter held an interactive Lifelong Learning workshop for Stern alumni, with introductory remarks by Daisy Prince (MBA ’23), founder and editor in chief at Digital Party and member of the Stern Alumni Council. Drawing on insights from his newest book, Anatomy of a Breakthrough: How to Get Unstuck and Unlock Your Potential, Professor Alter helped participants uncover how to get unstuck and manufacture personal and creative breakthroughs. Alumni had the opportunity to network with one another during two dedicated receptions both before and during the workshop.

“What Am I Good At, Like Really Good At?” with Professor Suzy Welch

As part of Reunion 2025, Suzy Welch led a Lifelong Learning workshop titled "What Am I Good At, Like Really Good At?" During the workshop, Professor Welch provided attendees with a structured approach to understanding their cognitive and emotional aptitudes, a clearer sense of their unique abilities, and a strategic roadmap for aligning their talents with meaningful opportunities. Attendees also received a copy of Professor Welch's new book, Becoming You: The Proven Method for Crafting Your Authentic Life and Career.

"Wait, Wait, I Need a Plan!" with Professor Suzy Welch

Suzy Welch delivered a half-day workshop designed to help alumni uncover the answer to one of life's most urgent yet elusive questions: “What should I do with my life?”

As part of the School's Lifelong Learning Initiative, Professor Welch shared a proven, transformational methodology that guides attendees through the profound and sometimes surprising journey of discovering their authentic purpose. Typically taught as a full-semester course to Undergraduate, MBA and Executive MBA students, this three-hour intensive—complete with several interactive activities—covered the most essential takeaways and left participants with a roadmap for further inquiry and self-discovery. The workshop was followed by a 90-minute reception, where alumni had the opportunity to enjoy cocktails, canapes and conversation with fellow guests and Professor Welch.
