Professor Scott Galloway Discusses His New Book, The Algebra of Happiness

Scott Galloway book event for the Algebra of Happiness
The Stern community came together on May 22, 2019 to hear Scott Galloway, marketing professor at NYU Stern, discuss his new book, The Algebra of Happiness: Notes on the Pursuit of Success, Love, and Meaning, in which he asks fundamental questions such as: What's the formula for a life well lived; How can you have a meaningful career, not just a lucrative one; Is work/life balance possible; What are the elements of a successful relationship?

Stephanie Ruhle, MSNBC anchor and NBC News correspondent moderated the discussion which touched on Professor Galloway’s motivation for the book, the relationship between money and happiness, the worst advice that can be given to young people about their careers, and more. Serge Permyakoff (MBA 2015), co-chair of the Recent Graduates Committee on the Alumni Council, made opening remarks.
