Lee Kruter (BS ’00)

NYU Stern welcomes Lee Kruter (BS ’00), New York, NY

Lee Kruter is a Partner and Head of Performing Credit at GoldenTree Asset Management and is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. He is the Lead Portfolio Manager for the firm’s Private Credit strategy, Multi-Sector strategy, GoldenTree Loan Management and fixed income oriented Structured Credit strategies. Prior to GoldenTree, he was a Vice President at Credit Suisse in the Leveraged Finance Research group. Lee is a CFA charterholder and earned a BS degree from NYU Stern.

 

 

Tony Watkins (MBA ’11)

NYU Stern welcomes Tony Watkins (MBA ’11), New York, NY

Tony Watkins is the Director of Global Partnerships at Google, where he has worked for 13 years in a variety of leadership positions, including in the Partnerships and Sales divisions. Tony has been the chair of the NYU Stern Alumni Council, previously serving as the Vice Chair of the Council’s digital communications committee. Tony is a former Division I athlete and holds a BS in marketing and international business, in addition to his Stern MBA.

Elizabeth Elting (MBA ’92) participated in the Endless Frontier Labs award ceremony at NYU Stern in May 2025, as the benefactor of the Elizabeth Elting Venture Fund and a long-time supporter of women entrepreneurs in the NYU community and beyond.

David Ko (BS ’93) hosted Stern students at Calm’s Palo Alto offices during their West Coast immersion in January 2025 and participated in a fireside chat during Reunion 2025, moderated by Professor Dolly Chugh where he discussed his book, Recharge: Boosting Your Mental Battery, One Conversation at a Time.

Daniel Budiman (Parent STERN ’24) and Judy Lee (BS ’88) in partnership with NYU Abu Dhabi leadership hosted a gathering for the Jakarta alumni community and prospective Stern at NYUAD students at the Ritz-Carlton Jakarta in April 2025.

Christina Dennis (BS ’80) once again made a challenge gift to inspire the Stern Executive Board and broader Stern community to join her in giving back. For the ninth year in a row, Stern led the way across all NYU Schools, raising $8.5M from more than 1,900 gifts, shattering all prior Stern records, and kicking off the year-long celebration of the 125th anniversary of Stern’s Undergraduate College.

Darren Richman (MBA ’00) generously served as this year’s matching gift challenge donor for Stern’s holiday giving campaign, which raised $1.7 million from over 2,100 donors—matching past dollar totals and surpassing previous years by 38% in donor count.

Susan Jurevics (MBA ’96) served as moderator for the Stern Dean’s Lunch during NYU Alumni and Parents Weekend in October 2024. She was also the featured speaker at Stern’s Scholarship Reception in March 2025 and participated in events for both the Stern Women’s Forum and Stern’s program in luxury and retail.

Dietrich Becker (MBA ’91, Parent STERN ’24), the Executive Board Chair, served as the keynote speaker for the Stern MBA and PhD Convocation ceremony for the Class of 2025 and interviewed Professor Scott Galloway in a fireside chat on NYU One Day and challenged the Stern community to give back. He also hosted two informal Board breakfasts: the first with NYU's new Chief Investment Officer Michelle Knudsen, and the second featured Deepak Hegde, Founder and Andrew Hamilton Director of the Endless Frontier Labs (EFL) and the Seymour Milstein Professor of Strategy.

Nomi Ghez (GSAS ’76, ADCRT ’81) welcomed her scholarship recipients from the Breakthrough Scholars Leadership Program to a special dinner in November 2024.

Chris Gallea (BS ’88, Parent STERN ’23) and Alison Mass (BS ’80, MBA ’81) hosted the Stern Goldman alumni community at Goldman Sachs in October for the inaugural event launching the latest chapter of the Stern Corporate Ambassador program.
