Alumni, students, and faculty across NYU, NYU Stern, and the NYU Stern-NYU Shanghai MS Programs gathered in Shanghai for a conversation on geopolitics, finance, and artificial intelligence with Professor Emeritus Menachem Brenner and Professor Han-Shen Lin (MS ’10). Welcome remarks were given by Professor Adam Brandenburger, Faculty Director of the NYU Shanghai Program on Creativity + Innovation and Director of the NYU Stern-Shanghai MS Programs.

The conversation featured a Q&A with the audience.
The discussion examined geopolitical risk and “radical” uncertainty, the role of AI in finance, and offered an outlook of global market dynamics for 2026. The conversation was followed by a networking reception.
Alumni mingled after the conversation during a networking reception.
