The Stern Corporate Ambassadors (SCA) program held an event with Stern alumni at IBM, where Professor Anindya Ghose explored the Blueprint for an AI-Driven Economy: Regulation, Reskilling, and Transformation. Welcome remarks were given by Tim Richer (MBA ’21), Director of Product Marketing, Data and AI at IBM and Stern Corporate Ambassador. The Q&A portion of the evening was moderated by Eileen Lowry (MBA ’12), Vice President of Product Management at IBM Consulting.

Alumni enjoyed a discussion with Professor Anindya Ghose on AI.
Professor Ghose gave an overview of the emerging AI technology stack and its regulatory risks, based on his ringside testifying experience in the antitrust lawsuits brought by the US and European governments against Google and Meta. He also showcased how businesses can unlock value with a structured approach to adopting descriptive, predictive, causal, and prescriptive AI methods. The conversation was concluded by a Q&A and networking reception.

The program was hosted at IBM and brought together alumni working at IBM, alumni in tech, and MBA students interested in tech.
